This year El Rio has provided large tents for shade for the revelers – fabulous! Local kids swing into the river from the cliffside here for tips and there are tables and chairs set up on the river’s shady banks.Īt this point in its meandering the river has a fairly deep pool suitable for swimming. We got there a bit early and the riverside beach was still pretty quiet.
